Schulz Mania for a perfect start

Right at the beginning of the two-day festival of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) in Ötztal, fans can prepare for an absolute fireworks of hits and shows. Megastar Robin Schulz returns to Sölden on Thursday, 04 April! The 31-year old is one of Germany’s most successful music exports. With global hits such as „Sun goes down”, „Sugar” or „Show me love”, the highly acclaimed producer has conquered a regular place in the top charts. The hit „Prayer in C” is the most successful international hit ever by a German artist. His performances at the Belgian Tomorrowland or the Ultra Music Festival in Miami are legendary. No wonder that pop icon Justin Bieber opted for Schulz as a support act. In Sölden, the producer and DJ performs already for the second time. His Ötztal premiere took place as an evening event but this time Robin Schulz and his fans can look forward to fabulous panoramic views of the Alpine scenery.

The lineup on the first festival day also features R3HAB. His fans especially appreciate the Dutch DJ for his varied range of music styles. Thanks to his innovative approach, he already reached number one on the renowned Beatport charts. In addition to the latest single „Bad!”, the producer of Moroccan descent also stages great hits like „Trouble”, „You could be” and „I just can’t” at the ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL. A true veteran in the world of electronic beats is the Swiss DJ EDX. For more than 25 years he has known how to charm the audience’s ears. In 2017, he reached the official Beatport charts five times. Also his remix versions of pop stars like Beyoncé, Calvin Harris and Birdy are on heavy rotation worldwide. Known under the artist’s name Le Shuuk, the German DJ Chris Stritzel thrills the audience with his spectacular tunes. Whether as a resident DJ for BigCityBeats, podcasting host of „Loud & Proud” or composer for the World Club Dome anthems – electronic dance music determines the life of this DJ from Stuttgart, much to the delight of his fans.

Superstar from Belgium

Felix de Laet. Never heard? As Lost Frequencies the Belgian DJ takes over the top positions of the international charts regularly and on Friday, 05 April, he will perform at Giggijoch’s Fun Zone. The 25-year old’s global breakthrough came with the hit „Are you with me” with more than 273 million views on YouTube alone, reaching #1 in 18 different countries. Also his cooperation „Melody” with singer-songwriter James Blunt reached millions of views. One of Lost Frequencies’ many catchy earliest hits is “Reality”. The popular musical art work was crowned by performances at Tomorrowland (Belgium & Brazil), Lollapalooza (Germany) and the epic Coachella (USA) festival. A separate headlining tour through North America confirms the popular status that Felix de Laet enjoys around the globe. The Dutch house DJ Laidback Luke is versatile both in his music and as a person. In addition to his skills as a world-class DJ, he was a prize-winning kung fu athlete and is also happy to pass on his musical knowledge in online tutorials. At his gig in the Ötztal mountains, Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen simply focuses on the sheer power of his tunes. The fans love his style as well as his fellow musicians like Steve Angello or Steve Aoki, with whom Laidback Luke has already worked in several projects. His current style is mainly characterized by more melodious sounds, for example in his songs „XOXO” or „Paradise”. From the pop-nation of Denmark, DJ and producer Martin Jensen travels to the hotspot of the Alps. With the single „Solo Dance” he landed a smash hit. The track brought Jensen to the top of the charts, to the biggest festivals and secured him a fix place among the top 100 DJs worldwide. His voice-sampling by football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo caused a stir. In the song „Sí”, the artist from Jutland impressively demonstrated his gift for creating music that reaches the audience both in clubs and on big stages.
